Focus on Street Art

The STRAAT Museum in Amsterdam is a museum dedicated to street art and urban contemporary art. It promotes and exhibits works by both established and emerging street artists from around the world.

Collection

The museum's collection features a variety of artworks ranging from murals and graffiti to stencil art and installations. The aim is to showcase the diversity and creativity of street art as a form of contemporary expression.

Almost all the artworks were made for and in the STRAAT museum.

STRAAT Cafe

The café, on the 2nd and 3rd floor, has a cool, raw industrial vibe, with exposed brick walls, huge windows, and steel girders.

From its panorama terrace you have amazing views of the entire museum from high above.

Location

STRAAT resides in a colossal warehouse in the former shipbuilding area of NDSM in the city district of Amsterdam Noord.

From Amsterdam Central Station, you can take a free ferry (Ferry F4) to Amsterdam Noord. The ferry ride takes about 14 minutes. Once you arrive in Amsterdam Noord, you can already see the museum's huge halls in front of you.

If you're staying within the city, consider renting a bicycle and cycling to Amsterdam Noord. You can take your bicycle on the ferry or use it to explore Noord once you arrive.
