The Manor is located in a former civilian hospital in the eastern part of Amsterdam.
The monumental building (from 1891) with light and spacy rooms was built by architect A.L. van Gendt – who also built the Concertgebouw.
In the direct vicinity of the hotel are many bars, restaurants and shops.
The Manor has its own bar, restaurant and lounge space. Its own Italian restaurant is named Bar Enoteca and has a lovely outdoor terrace.
The civilian hospital at the Linneausstraat served the citizens of Amsterdam for more than 100 years.
In this former hospital building - a big garden in the courtyard - football legend Johan Cruyff was born.
