Former Heineken brewery (1863) in De Pijp
Guests will experience an interactive journey through the brewing process and will have the opportunity to create and take home their own personalised bottle of Heineken.
You can also go on a Bottle Ride. Seated on a moving platform, you follow the production route of a bottle of beer.
The working stables and iconic Heineken shire horses are accessible via a newly constructed Stable Walk. Once the tour is over, guests can relax with a refreshing glass of Heineken.
The former Heineken brewery is a National Monument and is listed as an anchor point along the European Route of Industrial Heritage . After the Heineken Experience opened its doors in 2001, the attraction developed itself into one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Dutch capital.
The Heineken Experience is located at one of the most impressive industrial heritage sites of the Netherlands: the original Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam.
Its buildings span two centuries, the main parts dating from 1867 (the original building) and 1930 (a working brewery until 1988).
When travelling from the centre of Amsterdam to De Pijp, you can't miss the old Heineken Brewery, an enormous red-brick building on Stadhouderskade. Although Heineken is no longer a brewery, it has been fully renovated and now operates as a a tourist attraction and meeting centre.
