The Okura building of 23 floors (without the 13th floor) is 78 meters high. It has its own car park.

The building has a barometer which, by means of the lighting on the roof at 75 meters, indicates the weather of the next day. Blue light indicates that a sunny day is approaching; green light announces bad weather, and white light indicates changeable weather.

Location

Okura is located close to Albert Cuyp Market on the southern side of Amsterdam's city centre in the vibrant neighbourhood De Pijp. The country's largest trade fair and convention centre, the Amsterdam RAI, is within a short walking distance.
