In a monumental university building a new design hostel opened its doors recently. It is located nearby Artis Zoo in the up-and-coming eastern side of the city (Amsterdam Oost) overlooking Oosterpark.
Auditorium Bar - classroom style seating with a comfortable lounge style feel
The former lecture hall has been turned into an impressive chill-out lounge and bar, while the old library is now a relaxation and private events room. The basement and café are now dining destinations and the original boiler room has become a secret late night bar.

Generator offers both private twin, double or quad rooms as well as shared quad rooms where you can book a bed from €15 per night.All bunks have a privacy boards plus each room has an en-suite bathroom and handy lock-up storage.
There is also one luxury apartment for 6 people with views of the park and a self-catered kitchen.
