Honouring the buildings' original rococo style of the former patrician residences, many 17th- and 18th-century features have been preserved after its transformation into a hotel.

Its palatial entranceway and grand staircase are attributed to Daniel Marot, the architect of King Louis XIV, and Stadtholder William III.
