De Kas

greenhouse chic, locally sourced, organic, and seasonal

De Kas is a trendy restaurant that is located in an airy former greenhouse in city park Frankendael, at the corner of Middenweg and Kamerlingh Onneslaan, in the eastern part of Amsterdam. Its breathtaking dining room has been designed by Piet Boon, famous Dutch furniture and interior designer.

Fresh and organic food

Most herbs and vegetables are grown on site, with others coming from a nearby farm. Everything you eat is harvested that day. This also means there's no à la carte option. Instead, former Michelin-starred chef of Vermeer, Gert-Jan Hageman, and his team cook one fixed daily menu from what they have to hand.
