Het Grachtenhuis (Museum of the Canals) is a new museum that is located in one of the most beautiful houses at Amsterdam's Herengracht (or "gentleman's canal"). It is a must-see for visitors who want to know more about the development of the city, Amsterdam's canals and the architecture that borders them?

During your visit you will find out how the ring of canals, which is nearly four centuries old, came to be.

There's a free audioguide available in the following languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin) & Dutch.
