’t Loosje

Lokaal 't Loosje's street terrace on Nieuwmarkt.

Beautiful old-Dutch style pub with wooden tables and tilework covering the walls and old floor.

One wall has a 3-metre-wide depiction of an old brewery. Other tile art depicts old products, the pub and its visitors during earlier times.

Billiard

't Loosje is frequently visited by locals. Upstairs is a billiard table where locals are playing billiard while enjoying their glass of beer.

Beautiful terrace

Throughout the year, weather permitting, you can sit outside and enjoy all the passers-by on the Nieuwmarkt, one of the city's liveliest squares. Even in winter, you can sit outside on the heated terrace.

The terrace is open from early morning. With its east-facing location, you can enjoy the morning sun already during breakfast.

Large choice of beers

't Loosje has 8 beers on tap and some 20 in bottle. It's known for selling the local Amsterdam Brouwerij 't IJ beers. They are very tasty, but stronger, beers with names like Natte (6,5%), Zatte (8%), Columbus (9%), Struis (9%).
