Highly recommended if you want to experience the atmosphere of a traditional Amsterdam bruincafé pub.

Lovely small bar

Café Hegeraad started more than 100 years ago on the corner of Noordermarkt and Boomstraat. It is visited mainly by locals, older residents and some Dutch and foreign tourists, who come here to taste the delicious apple tart.

Outdoor terrace

In summer you can sit on the outdoor terrace where you can enjoy the afternoon sun and the beautiful view of the historic Noordermarkt.

Location

Café Hegeraad is located on Noordermarkt in the Jordaan just steps away from the Prinsengracht. It overlooks the beautiful Noorderkerk.

The café is on walking distance to other good pubs and restaurants, such as 't Papeneiland , Domenica  and Toscanini to name a few.
