This dependency of the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg is located in the former Amstelhof, a classical style building from 1681 that used to be one of the earliest old people's homes in the Netherlands. In this beautiful building on the Amstel river small temporary exhibitions drawn from the rich collection of the State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg and other Russian museums are on display.
