Café Loetje is a cozy restaurant - rather an eetcafé - with a a nice bar and a spacious conservatory. It is located in the middle of a neat residential neighbourhood and has a huge outdoor terrace in summer. The strength of Loetje is uncomplicated, but good quality food and generous portions.

All Amsterdammers know it: Loetje serves the best tenderloin steaks ('biefstuk' in Dutch) of Amsterdam. It is served with a wide range of traditional jus, fries and salad. The dish has been a success for over 40 years.

Reservations
You do not have to book a table. You can just come by. At busy times a waiting list is used and you can already have a drink at the bar. As in many restaurants in Amsterdam, it is not possible to book seats in advance on the terrace.

The restaurant is located in the middle of the lovely neighborhood 'Duivelseiland' near Museumplein in city district Oud-Zuid.
