Ten 17th-century canal-side houses on the distinguished Herengracht in the historic centre of Amsterdam form the accommodations for the stylish Ambassade Hotel.
Ambassade Hotel has 56 uniquely decorated rooms and suites, of which many have a canal view. All rooms have their own character and very specific charm and are furnished in Louis XV/XVI style.
There are different room categories: standard (16m2) and classic single or double (20-21m2), deluxe (25m2), superior deluxe (25m2), triple (30m2), quadruple (35m2), split-level superior (35m2), grand suite (55m2) and an apartment.
Each room has a desk and a sitting area with two comfortable armchairs.
Ambassade Hotel has a perfect, very quiet location at one of the city's loveliest spots in the Canal Belt of Amsterdam. Herengracht-canal, one of the main canals of Amsterdam, is the place where the richest merchants had their mansions. It is near the cosy and picturesque shopping area The 9 Streets and Spui square.

The hotel's library is richly decorated and contains over 5,000 books. Here you will find a unique collection of signed books by authors who have all stayed at the Ambassade Hotel.
