King's Night (Koningsnacht) is celebrated very lavishly the night before King's Day (Koningsdag) in Amsterdam. King's Night is essentially a prelude to the festivities of King's Day.
The atmosphere is usually vibrant and lively, with locals and tourists alike joining in the festivities.
During King's Night, the streets of Amsterdam come alive with parties, concerts, street markets, food and drink stalls. People dress in orange and gather in squares, parks, and along canals to celebrate.
