Cecconi's Amsterdam - restaurant area with open kitchen

Cecconi's - on the ground floor of the recently opened Soho House - is a trendy restaurant, bar and lounge that serves fresh pasta, seafood and classic dishes originating from Northern Italy.

The ambience is relaxed and informal, with live music in the background. The service is surprisingly good compared to the average level of other dining establishments in Amsterdam.

Former university canteen

Cecconi's is located on the ground floor of Soho House Amsterdam  in a beautiful building near Dam Square. It is housed in the former canteen of the Faculty of Language and Culture of the University of Amsterdam (UvA).

In addition to the original restaurant in Mayfair, London, Cecconi's has locations in Miami, West Hollywood, New York, Istanbul, Berlin and Barcelona.

On the menu

On the menu of the restaurant are delicious appetizers, pasta & risotto dishes, pizza, salads, outstanding meat and fish specialities, and cicchetti (savoury snacks or small side dishes).

Specialities include Spaghetti lobster, Burrata with tomato and basil, Risotto with wild mushrooms, Veal Milanese, Fiorentina steak, Panna cotta with strawberries, and Tiramisu. The pasta is homemade in a large kitchen below the restaurant.

Reservation

Make your table reservation online  via Cecconi's official site. They hold back a number of tables each evening for walk-ins if there are none available online.
