Did you know that ...
.. attended parking is available for just €1 per day?
A recent study revealed that Amsterdam is the world's most expensive city to park your car, but P+R locations are a good option to park at an affordable price.
Attended parking is available for just €1 per day (including a free return ticket for the tram or metro into the city) at P+R ArenA (below the stadium), P+R Sloterdijk, P+R Bos en Lommer, P+R Olympic Stadium, P+R Zeeburg and P+R RAI.
What means P+R?
P+R stands for Parkeren en Reizen (Park and Ride) and are multi-storey car parks in Amsterdam. You park your car at a P+R location on the outskirts of the city and travel into town by public transport.
Important conditions of P+R!
- Enter on weekdays after 10 am* (there are no time restrictions in the weekend)
- Maximum parking time is 96 hours
- Make sure to check in your P+R chip card ticket on your inward and outward public transport trip and don't forget to check out when exiting the vehicle.
Download the P+R brochure
(1.2 MB) of the City of Amsterdam and read more about the rules for P+R.

The Amsterdam P+R locations are easy to find, just follow the P+R signs on the A1, A2 and the A10 ring road.
